FIELD: mechanical engineering; combination fuel systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed combination fuel system of internal combustion engine contains standard fuel devices including nozzles, fuel injection pumps and gas accumulator with gas line. Upper space of gas accumulator communicates through pipeline and check valve with one of diesel engine cylinders. Cylinders of diesel engine are furnished, in addition to standard nozzles, with electrically-operated gas nozzles with electronic control unit which controls beginning and duration of gas injection. Said electronic control unit is electrically coupled with noncontact gas injection commencement sensor, capacitor-type power source and standard fuel injection pump control rack position sensor. Gas injection commencement sensor is installed opposite to gas injection distributor. Gas injection distributor is made in form of toothed disk movable coupled with crankshaft of diesel engine and kinematically coupled with mechanical centrifugal governor.
