Abstract RU 2206975 C2

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: stalk lifter has base unit for attachment of lifter to header, and lifting blade. Base is made in the form of smooth plate, which has portion profiled as at least one coil of spring, with said portion being positioned in front of attachment unit. Lifting blade is fixed to base at an angle of 25-45 C. Curved plate is pivotally attached to other end of lifting blade. Stalk lifter base is subjected to chemical-thermal strengthening by, for example, oxycarbonitration. Stalk lifter of such construction effectively guides lodged stalks to cutter bar. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
