FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: stalk lifter has cutterbar, to which is secured bracket and working tool mounted on bracket through intermediate link. Working tool is additionally connected to bracket by means of axially flexible tie-rod made in the form of rod. Tie-rod is coupled to bracket through cylindrical pivot joint and spring-loaded by compression screw spring. Tie-rod is connected with working tool through attachment member positioned along straight line running in parallel with ground surface and intersecting center of cylindrical pivot joint of axially flexible tie-rod. Stalk lifter follows profile of ground surface. It allows stalk lifter to be prevented from burying into soil. Stalk lifter of such construction is recommended for use in harvesting of lodged and entangled cereal crop stalks. EFFECT: increased efficiency in lifting harvested cereal crop mass and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 cl, 1 dwg
