METHOD FOR STUDYING ENCEPHALIC STATE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery, express-diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out electromagnetoresonance impedance-metry of symmetrical encephalic parts: parietal, temporal, frontal and section of subtentorial are at resonance frequency. One should calculate the ratio of obtained impedance values of symmetrical parts and at value of 1.3 and higher at section with lower impedance value it is possible to diagnose focal encephalic lesion. At similar or equal impedance values at symmetrical parts one should calculate, additionally, the ratio of impedances at tested parts to impedance value of oscillating contour at anterior-lateral surface of average femoral third. At 3.2 value and lower for temporal lobes, 3.6 and lower for occipital lobes, 2.2 and lower for subtentorial departments one should diagnose focal lesion. EFFECT: higher possibilities of diagnostics.
