FIELD: mechanical engineering; metal frames for electric posts. SUBSTANCE: proposed metal frame contains vertical members 12c of structure made of U- shaped section, set of horizontal crossmembers 14d, 16f passing parallel to each other in width and depth of post, and fastening means for assembling said crossmembers of two sets with vertical structural members to form skeleton in form of rectangle. Each vertical structural member is furnished with support formed by four support surfaces designed for interaction with two surfaces of crossmembers and fitting in required position and mating to form wedge fastening when tightening fastening device. Said device contains screw passing through holes of crossmember and interacting with locknut attached to support. Threaded hole of nut is made in center of symmetry of four support surfaces.
