FIELD: distribution-line transformers. SUBSTANCE: winding coil is square or rectangular in direct cross-sectional area and has insulating sheath of synthetic material incorporating set of series- connected turns formed by insulation covered metal wire. Longitudinal or radial turns are laid in layer-by-layer manner, their number depending on thickness of insulating coating on metal conductor, so that voltage between two adjacent turns placed at highest potential difference were not over breakdown voltage (Td) applied in the open to mentioned insulated conductor according to Paschen's law. Coreless transformer is wound simply by laying separate coils of said type. Air in turn-to-turn gaps functions as insulation. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture. 7 cl, 9 dwg
