SUBSTANCE: information signals coming to input of unit controlling transmission speed at transmitting side with speed Vj = kj•Vmin where j= 1,2, . ..N and k=1,2,...M are converted to information signals with speed Vmin across kj outputs of unit subject to condition that . Distribution of various numbers of low-speed communication channels (Vmin) at input to multiplexer between sources of discrete messages operating with different speeds in process of message exchange is carried out with the aid of transmitting commutator and control unit. Units protecting against errors, signal converting units and multiplexers participate in information transmission, grouping and ungrouping of channels. Reverse conversion of M low-speed channels to N information reception channels with required speed is executed at receiving side by means of receiving commutator and control unit. EFFECT: development of system providing maximal utilization of carrying capacity of group path under operational control over transmission speed of sources of discrete messages. 11 dwg
