FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use at ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy as well as mechanical engineering enterprises. Waste water is freed from lubricating fluid components by coagulation technique. In particular, to waste water are consecutively added 3.5-4.0 g/l of iron sulfate in the form of powder and 9•10-3-10•10-3 g/l of 0.1-0.5% aqueous solution of sodium silicate oligomers with 3-4 monomer units in chain. Process is effected at pH 8.0. Method allows waste water treatment process to be simplified and purification degree and economical efficiency of process to be increased. In addition, reduction in amount of reagents decreases weight of formed sediment and total amount of salts in water being cleaned.
