FIELD: mining and metallurgical industry, particularly, burial of failings of concentration and hydrometallurgical processing of minerals in places of these minerals occurrence, for instance, in underground workings of are mines. SUBSTANCE: method of tailings burial in mine underground workings includes underground mining of ore, formation of pillers in worked-out spaces and burial of tailings as component of filling. Worked-out space formed in are mining is expanded by extraction of barren enclosing rocks adjacent to worked-out space between pillars. Ratio of volumes of mined ore, extracted barren rocks and consumption of solid phase of tailings in filling is determined by expression given in invention description. EFFECT: reliable burial in mine underground workings of all volume of tailings solid phase, hydrometallurgical processing of extracted ore, and freeing of earth surface from harmful effect of tailing dumps.
