FIELD: small arms, applicable in manufacture and assembly of weapon with a longitudinally sliding breechblock. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that a thread is cut on the end-piece of the barrel breech, on which then the receiver is screwed on, prior to it selected and installed between the receiver end and the barrel thickening is a ring, whose length satisfies the following condition: h+lb-lz≤L<h+S+lb-lz, where h - the distance between the barrel thickening and the end of the caliber-gauge, lb - the distance between the locking lugs of the breechblock and the breechblock face, lz - the distance between the receiver end and the receiver locking recesses, S - the maximum-allowable face clearance, L-ring length. EFFECT: enhanced adaptability to manufacture as compared with the prototype due to simplification and labor content of fulfilled operations. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
