FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: tributyl phosphate-containing organic phase is subjected to three-step mixing with aqueous phase and separation. In the first step, water for mixing comes from the third step. In the second step, soda ash is used and process is carried out at organic phase-to-aqueous phase ratio (1-4):1 at 20-60 C, alkali reagent being removed from the process. In the third step, wash water utilized is that from the first step at 20-60 C, part of aqueous phase being removed from the process and fresh water introduced in amount required to maintain a certain level of polluted aqueous phase. Mixing and separation of phases in each step are effected in pulsation mode with countercurrent supply of reagents in one apparatus. First- and third-step pulsation ranges from 0.5 to 2 cm/s and, in the second step, 0.1 to 1 cm/s. EFFECT: increased degree of purification, considerably simplified process, enhanced rinsing reagent use efficiency, and reduced loss of extractant. 3 cl, 1 tbl
