FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions can be used for automatic acceleration of rotor of power generating turbo set from generator operating as synchronous motor and bringing gas turbine to automotive duty. Starting system includes gas turbine with its own control system, synchronous generator with static or brushless field system, frequency converter supply the generator, starting control device and rotor speed sensor. Novelty is that system is provided with one of stabilizing negative feedbacks: namely rotor speed derivative, converter direct current, active power or motor electromagnetic moment feedbacks. Each feedback includes correcting links with adjustable weight and dynamic characteristics. Combined use of each of above-indicated feedbacks with rotor speed derivative feedback, as most simple in implementation, is recommended. Load angle feedback is recommended for use together with rotor speed derivative feedback. Owing to provision of described stabilizing feedbacks, structural vibrating instability inherent of non-corrected system of turbo set synchronous electric drive is eliminated, with provision of stabilization of mode parameters of system. Each feedback provides separately stabilization of parameters, but use of combined of said feedbacks improves reliability of functioning of system, together with improved quality of stabilization.
