SUBSTANCE: dc voltage converter has two transistor switches incorporating protective diodes inserted between their emitters and bases; transformer with saturable magnetic core carrying center-tapped primary power windings inserted in collector circuit of transistor switches, secondary power windings, and positive feedback windings; primary voltage contacts inserted between collector circuit and emitters of transistor switches; and bias resistors connected through some contacts to primary voltage contact of collector circuit; novelty primarily meant to prevent simultaneous current conduction by both transistors during converter operation is introduction of parallel-connected OFF-operation speed-up units and delay units, some contacts of positive feedback winding being connected to emitters of transistor switches and other contacts of positive feedback windings, to first inputs of OFF-operation speed- up units and to inputs of delay units, respectively; first outputs of the latter are connected to bases of transistor switches and second ones, to emitters of transistor switches; bias resistors are connected through other contacts to second inputs of delay units.
