FIELD: special furniture designed for computer operators and providing ergonomic conditions enhancing comfortability and keeping operator health. SUBSTANCE: armchair includes seat, back, base and it is provided with two carrying members rigidly secured to back and arranged symmetrically at both sides of back and seat. Armchair has height- adjusted head rest, foot support and two arm rests rigidly secured to respective carrying member. On end portions of arm rests instrumentation table of terminal equipment is mounted with possibility of demounting; there is visual observation object and illumination device. Carrying members are arc-shaped and they are vertically mounted on base with possibility of motion relative to circle center by predetermined angle. Seat is jointly coupled with carrying members and at motion of said members seat is always held in horizontal position. Armchair has automatic system for changing rotation angle of carrying members and including pickups for monitoring operator position, microprocessor and actuating mechanism.
