FIELD: chemical oil engineering; hydraulic machinery. SUBSTANCE: proposed sliding-vane pump has housing, closing members interconnected by sections with templet curves, rotor with slots in which vanes are arranged. Groves of depth not less than 5 mm with different angles of inclination of groove faces to tangential lines in pints of their getting onto cylindrical surface of rotor are made before each slot of rotor in direction of its rotation on its cylindrical surface in parallel to slots. Angle of inclination of front face is α = 60±5°, that of rear face is β = 85±5°, and length 1 of groove is 0.70-0.85 of length b of generatrix of rotor cylindrical surface. Two cylindrical blind grooves are made in each sector of end face surface of rotor limited by walls of adjacent slots. Said blind grooves are arranged in each sector so that their projections on plane passing through axis of rotor overlap each other.
