FIELD: electric measurement technology, uninterrupted contactless determination of humidity of moving textile material and paper. SUBSTANCE: main point of invention lies in that primary converter in the form of capacitive pickup anchored on dielectric holders at some height above moving humid cloth is displaced along direction of cloth movement by certain distance from point of contact and metal shaft over which cloth passes. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement of humidity thanks to raised sensitivity. 2 dwg
