FIELD: grinding equipment for hard materials. SUBSTANCE: tubular mill has drum, charging and discharge journals. Drum is constructed from sequentially positioned sections, each being assembled of two pairs of triangles connected with their sides. First pair of triangles is formed of two similar pairs of isosceles triangles and second pair of triangles is formed of isosceles triangle equal to isosceles triangle of first pair and equilateral triangle, whose sides are equal to side of isosceles triangle. Each previous section of drum is turned with respect to subsequent section at an angle of 120 deg. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 6 dwg
