FIELD: machine engineering, possibly decorative trimming and strengthening parts in free state. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes cone drum made of successively arranged sections. Each section is made of two pairs of triangles mutually joined by lateral sides. First pair of triangles includes two similar isosceles triangles. Second pair of triangles includes isosceles triangle similar to that of first pair and equilateral triangle whose sides are equal to lateral sides of triangles of first pair. Each successive section at assembling tumbling drum is turned relative to previous one by 120 degrees. At tumbling process regulated motion of parts and particles of working fluid in rotating drum is disordered. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 dwg
