FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; applicable in increase of recovery of pool hydrocarbon materials in process of pool development with use of wells. SUBSTANCE: method includes lowering into well of pipe string with hydraulic cylinder accommodating plunger and located in pipe string lower part; stimulation of producing formation by hydraulic impacts by releasing in pulse regime of fluid column above plunger into space under plunger in each motion of the latter to its uppermost position. Hydraulic cylinder bottom is plugged. Prior to each releasing of fluid column weight, space of hydraulic cylinder under plunger is freed from fluid. In this case, rigid hydraulic impacts are delivered on bottom of hydraulic cylinder. Impact force is regulated by weight of fluid column and length of hydraulic cylinder for acceleration of fluid column under gravitation to required final velocity for performance of hydraulic impacts. Device for embodiment of claimed method includes pipe string with expanded part, hydraulic cylinder secured to pipe string below pipe expanded part, plunger with check valve installed in hydraulic cylinder for plunger coming out of it in its upper must position and communication of space above plunger with space under plunger through expanded part of pipe string and tie-rod. One end of tie-rod is fastened to plunger, and the other end is connected to means for forced motion of plunger. Said means is secured to wellhead. Hydraulic cylinder has plugged bottom which restricts plunger extreme lower position and provided possibility of formation of airtight chamber under plunger without fluid in its full volume at each motion of plunger upward. Chamber length is selected to meet conditions of fluid column acceleration above plunger under gravitation up to required final velocity required for performance of hydraulic impact by this fluid column on hydraulic cylinder bottom with preset force. EFFECT: higher efficiency of stimulation of producing formation due to increased power of hydraulic impacts directly on bottomhole and as a result, increased zone of stimulation of hydrocarbon pool. 7 cl, 2 dwg
