SUBSTANCE: electronic clock designed for real-time playing chess with remote opponent has series-connected power unit, timing pulse generating unit, data processing unit connected through clock switch to means for displaying opponent's time, data transmit-receive unit connected to communication line, means for displaying remote opponent's move, and remote opponent's move check unit; output of data transmit-receive unit is connected to input of data processing unit whose outputs are connected to input of data transmit-receive unit and to input for displaying remote opponent's next move; output of means for displaying remote opponent's next move is connected to input of remote opponent's move check unit whose output is connected to input of means for displaying time of opponents.
