FIELD: lighting engineering; power supplies for electroluminescent light panels. SUBSTANCE: power supply has line rectifier, ripple filter, and push-pull dc-to-ac power converter built around in-series-connected field-effect MOS transistors. Power supply circuit also incorporates pulse-width modulator using programmable microcontroller, pulse shaper-multiplexer, power converter control driver, auxiliary power unit, line filter, and mode-of-operation control unit for ripple filter. Power supply also has overload protective gear, light intensity control signal input unit, RC circuit of series-connected isolating capacitor and output resistor, and current-limiting resistor. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, reduced power requirement, enhanced stability of output characteristics for all types of light panels. 4 cl, 2 dwg
