FIELD: electrical engineering; commutator machine with even number of armature slots. SUBSTANCE: commutator machine armature winding has winding portions of sections disposed in its slots and on its butt-ends; novelty is that winding portions of each section are located in its respective pair of adjacent slots and in those opposing this pair of slots. Winding portions disposed on armature butt-ends in each separate section are parallel to each other and each winding portion of section is offset in armature slots relative to respective winding portions of adjacent section by one tooth pitch. In this way provision is made for alternate entrance of winding portions under electrical machine poles and for stepless variation of internal voltage across sections.
