GRAIN COMBINE COARSE HEAP SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: coarse heap separator has straw walkers and stirrer positioned above straw walkers. Stirrer is positioned transverse to heap feeding direction and is composed of rakes rotating around horizontal axis. Rake supports for each straw walker are made of individual pipe with bushing fixed inside it and put onto shaft. Center-to-center distance between supporting pipe axis and bushing axis is equal to length of crank of straw walker crankshaft. Offset angle of one support on shaft with respect to other support is equal to offset angle of cranks of straw walkers crankshaft. Separator provides for permanent gap between rake and straw walker grid to enable intensive separation of coarse heap. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced grain loss behind straw walkers. 3 cl, 2 dwg
