FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- lifting and transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to freight elevators used in building and constructions. Proposed elevator contains framed car provided with doors, load carrying floor plate and ceiling plate and mechanism to provide vertical travel of car including four non-rotation lifting screws located from side of outer corners of car, and nuts turned onto screws for arrangement on lower parts of said screw. Proposed elevator contains four hollow metal columns in upper parts of which brackets for screws are mounted, and vertical posts are made at both sides of holes for each screw. Each screw is secured on said posts by means of upper universal joint, each nut is rigidly secured on lower crossmember. Drive of vertical travel mechanism contains two conical reduction gears which are coupled with electric motor through couplings one of which is provided with brake, and shafts of reduction gear are connected with propeller shafts. Each propellers shaft is connected with worm of corresponding worm reduction gear whose wheel is connected with said lower crossmember by means of lower universal joint. Car is installed on frame which carries said units of drive. Guide rollers for car are mounted on brackets of column. EFFECT: increased load-lifting capacity. 2 cl, 3 dwg
