FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: procedure testing density of core of cord article in process of forming includes detection of flaw in cord article caused by change of density of its core with the help of pickup. Cord article is passed through zone of three variable-induction pickups. Pickups are arranged in T- shape network in plane perpendicular to direction of movement of cord article. Discrete signals are formed on detection of flaw in cord article by means of pickups. They are sent to inputs of three-channel logic device, signal across output of device is formed on condition that there are signals from two pickups as minimum. EFFECT: raised reliability and authenticity of test of density of core of cord article in process of forming, possibility of correction of defective sections in cord article in process of its manufacture. 2 dwg
