FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel pressure drop indicator contains pickup installed in housing on vehicle wheel which takes up pressure differential and is connected with signal shaper and transmitter, and signal receiver mounted on vehicle body and electrically coupled with indicating unit arranged on instrument panel. Housing is provided with threaded hole and it is turned onto wheel nipple. Stop secured inside housing is in contact with tip of nipple spool. Pickup is provided with diaphragm arranged behind the stop and spring- loaded relative to housing to form closed space. Shutoff valves are arranged in diaphragm and housing from side of closed space. Pickup is provided with electric contacts, with fixed contact being connected on housing, and movable contact, on diaphragm. EFFECT: improved sensitivity of device owing to provision of direct contact of sensing element of pickup with air in tire, simplified mounting and removal of device for adjusting and repair. 2 dwg
