WELL PUNCH-PERFORATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction and repair of oil, gas and other wells; applicable in communication of casing cavity with well in cases of necessity of punching many holes in wall of casing string over long interval. SUBSTANCE: well punch-perforator has hollow body filled with fluid and provided with side channels connected to body cavity. Body side channel accommodates piston with working member. Hollow cylinder is rigidly connected with body. Rod is installed in cavity of body and cylinder for axial motion. Installed in cylinder cavity is plunger which is connected with rod and, together with it, forms rod and working chambers. Sub is rigidly connected with cylinder. Working string is used in form of pipe string with hydraulic channel for supply of power fluid-energy carrier from pump. Pipe string cavity is communicated with working chamber and via throttle, with well cavity. Rod chamber is communicated with well space. Installed between plunger and sub is auxiliary plunger couple whose components are connected, respectively, with sub and plunger. Cavity formed by said couple is closed and isolated from ambient medium. EFFECT: provided punching of many holes in casing string for one lowering of punch-perforator, multiple introduction of working member in one and the same hole. 1 dwg
