ATTACHMENT FOR JOINING HANDLE WITH STRIKER OF TOOL Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: manual tools. SUBSTANCE: attachment for joining handle with striker of tool includes metallic cover plate having cross semicircular bends (in the form of loops) which are arranged over outer side of striker and over end of handle. Said cover plate has length exceeding respective size of mounting opening of striker. Cover plate is inserted in said opening together with end of handle and it is provided with flat wings and spines in order to provide clearance free engagement with handle and with striker. Joining attachment has in addition limitor and second metallic cover plate which together with above mentioned first cover plate are embraced on end portion of handle by means of doubled envelope. Length value of each envelope is selected in such a way that to exceed by 2 - 3 times respective dimension of mounting opening of striker. Above mentioned spines are arranged on inner (relative to lateral sides of handle) layers of both cover plates. Outer layers of each cover plate outside striker are provided with mutually opposite cantilevers bent according to shape and dimension of cross section half of handle. At outer side of striker mutually opposite cover plates are joined by means of limitor and at other side of striker said flat wings are in the form of additional widened zone of all their cantilevers and they are oriented along said widened zone and along handle and rigidly secured one to another.
