SUBSTANCE: invention proposes chrome-base alloy comprising molybdenum, zirconium, titanium, iron, oxygen that involves additionally carbon and nickel in the following ratio of components, wt. -%: molybdenum, 10-35; zirconium, 0.3-1.5; titanium, 0.3-1.5; iron, 1-10; oxygen, 0.05-0.15; carbon, 0.1-0.5; nickel, 0.5-1.5 and chrome, the balance, and article made of this alloy. Invention provides the enhancement of impact viscosity, resistance against cyclic creep and friable destruction in thin cross-sections of engraving stumping tool.
