FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminum-based alloys, which can be used as structural materials for aviation-and- space engineering items. Particularly efficient is employment of alloy as adding material when manufacturing welded structures from high-strength aluminum alloys of system Al-Zn-Mg-Cu. Invention aims at reducing disposition to form hot breaks, increasing strength and impact resistance of alloys and welded structures from high-strength aluminum alloys of systems Al-Zn-Mg-Cu and Al-Cu-Mg-Li made with proposed alloy as adding material. Aluminum-based alloy of invention contains, wt %: Cu 7.5-12.0, Ti 0.05-0.2, V 0.02-0.15, Sc 0.1-0.3, Mn 0.1-0.4, at least two components from group: Ag 0.3-0.5, Nd 0.1-0.5, La 0.1-0.25, provided that sum Sc+Nd+La ≤ 0.4-0.6.
