FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has body enclosed in flexible housing, fastening members for fixing vertebral column, lead screw, sliding nut, control and locking dogs and worm, a pair of double ratchet wheels of different orientation having teeth heights of the first ratchet wheel higher than those of the second ratchet wheel. One of the ratchet wheels is rigidly fixed on the worm and the second one with spring-loaded fixing ball member for fixing step coincidence of the wheels. The locking dogs allow the second wheels to be fixable. The control dog allows rotation of both ratchet wheels.
