FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has distractor unit having members for fastening it on the vertebral column. The distractor has ratchet-wheel controlled with pawl and combined with sliding nut engaged with lead screw, and articulated sections stringed over flexible thread as well. One flexible thread end is fixed as spring on one of end pairs of vertebrae of distortion arc and the other one on distractor lead screw fixed on another pair of distortion arc vertebrae. The fixing members are pairwise fixed on the sections and allow longitudinal movement. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of surgical treatment; high longitudinal stability; reduced risk of traumatic consequences. 2 cl, 2 dwg
