FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for filling containers with food products, for instance, milk. Filling device has filling channel connected with storage reservoir. Deformable pipe, forming restriction section in channel, and clamping device located along pipe and designed for acting onto pipe sides are installed on carrying device. To close the channel clamping device is displaced opposite to product flow to build pressure lower than atmospheric pressure in channel; after clamping device. Filling device is furnished with meter for metering out dispensed product. To fill container, channel is opened by displacing clamping device from clamping position, and required amount of liquid delivered into container is metered out. Then clamping device is returned into clamping position and is displaced in direction opposite to product flow. EFFECT: provision of sterility at filling of containers. 14 cl, 4 dwg
