FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger plate comprises a row of crowns which protrude from the plate plane and provide for turbulence; they are characterised by a surface profile to destroy laminar boundary layers with the depth of the surface profile being significantly less than the crown depth. The invention relates also to the plate-type heat exchanger comprising such heat exchanger plates.
EFFECT: providing for alternative solution and additional improvement of the geometrical shape of the prior art heat exchanger plates, increasing heat exchange surface in the plate-type heat exchangers.
