According to proposed method, position of track relative to reference marks in points of their arrangement is measured, position of track between reference marks is measured by measuring curvature of track in plan and/or in longitudinal profile relative to base of measuring device and/or measuring rise of track by level and calculating position of track between reference marks in fixed coordinate system and corresponding values of shifts and/or lifts of track are determined by comparing measured and design positions of track, and track is subjected to surfacing. Proposed track machine contains frame resting on running bogies, track surfacing device mounted on frame and including track raising-and-leveling device and measuring device connected with raising-and-leveling device. Measuring device is provided with device for automatic determination of position of track relative to reference mark, and computer.
