FIELD: engineering surveys in construction. SUBSTANCE: invention refers predominantly to proximity methods with utilization of flat or helical dies, displacement meter and pile. Method testing soil by static load consists in screwing of boring pile into soil in point distant from test point with the aid of drilling rig fitted with hinge mast carrying block and rotating head moving on carriage along mast, winch with rope passed over pulley. Drilling rig is moved till axis of rotating head is placed on test point, hole is drilled to specified depth and working tip corresponding to specified method of test is sunk on drill stem to bottom of hole. Headband protecting thread from damage is put on upper end of drill stem, hydraulic jack is placed on headband and then rotating head is advanced and used as rest while forming pressure in hydraulic jack. Free end of rope is attached to headband of boring pile and rope backlash is taken up by means of winch. Reference system and instruments-indicators are installed and soil is tested with execution of required number of load stages, then entire system except drilling rig and boring pile is dismantled and preparations for next test are conducted. EFFECT: possibility to conduct tests of soils by various methods with use of single complex of technical means over entire depth of soil bedding, minimized labor input. 1 dwg
