FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: proposed igniter contains housing in form of cup-like solid of revolution with flanges and accommodates ignition composition and cover connected to housing through flanges. Housing is made of thermoplastic polymeric material with height-to-diameter ratio equal to 0.018 - 1.0. Said polymeric material features uniform shrinkage in longitudinal and cross directions. Invention provides reduced smoking and optimum conditions for ignition of charges. EFFECT: high adaptability to manufacture compact and highly reliable construction of igniter. 13 cl, 8 dwg
