FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of rocket engineering, in particular to methods for manufacturing of annular igniters with body made of polymer materials with ratio of height to ring width of more than 1. Method for manufacturing of annular film igniter includes moulding of igniter body, its equipping with charge of igniting composition, making of igniter cover and heat welding of body with cover. In process of igniter body moulding, they separately mold external and internal walls of igniter body with external and internal flanging so that internal flanging of external wall coincides in internal diametre with internal diametre of external flanging of internal wall. Then internal wall is inserted by external flanging inside external wall till flanging is combined with matching of their internal diametres, and flanging is heat welded. Cavity of igniter annular body is filled with charge of igniting composition and igniter annular body is heat welded along flanging to annular cover of igniter.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for making of film annular igniters practically with any ratio of height to width of igniter body ring.
