FIELD: engineering obstacles, applicable in arrangement of obstacles in tank-approachable directions in the conditions of areas of eternal congelation and in the course of defensive operations. SUBSTANCE: an artificially made ditch in the conditions of eternal congelation forms an ice crosspiece preventing the normal movement of underground water. As a result, water, resting on the crosspiece, rushes upwards, breaks up the surface layer of the ground and forms an iced barrage. For uniform spreading of the iced barrage over the entire width of the tank-approachable direction use is made of movable antiicing obstacles. EFFECT: produced continuous zone of iced barrage impassable for the ground equipment and armament of all kinds in the tank-approachable direction in the conditions of limited time of defense preparation and absence of sufficient personnel. 2 dwg
