FIELD: digital communications; detecting code-division multiplex multiple-access services for radiophones. SUBSTANCE: radiophone is provided with service detection device that has at least one signal-item rate-of-transfer detector that measures autocorrelation energy of full CDMMA signal detected and delays each energy measurement process by different delay times. Threshold sensing circuit sums up measured energies and establishes fact of available service if total energy is higher than threshold value; otherwise fact of service lacking is stated. Signal-item rate-of-transfer detectors may be connected in parallel to simultaneously measure autocorrelation energy of full CDMMA signal received or else one signal-item rate-of-transfer detector can sequentially measure autocorrelation energy of full CDMMA signal received. EFFECT: reduced time for detecting service availability; enhanced response to multiplexing of plurality of channels and multiple-beam components in receiver. 10 cl, 3 dwg
