FIELD: agriculture, in particular, preparing of organic fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying manure and straw mixture in pile; placing said pile into fermentation chamber; providing layer-by-layer blowing of pile with ozone-air mixture and simultaneously introducing thermophilic bacteria into pile lower layers; transferring portions of manure and straw mixture infected with said bacteria into other parts of pile. Apparatus has U-shaped fermentation chamber movable on skids and provided with side openings, where perforated tubes are arranged in tiers. Perforated tubes are communicated with pressurized air supplying line. Ozonizer is positioned on pressurized air supplying line. Fermentation chamber is made in the form of arced members fixed on skids. Rubberized fabric cover is secured by means of rings to arced members. Perforated tubes are equipped with sharpened plates having grips arranged at an angle to surface of related plate and pivotally attached to edge of said plate for rotation by means of drive lever.
