SUBSTANCE: method comprises adjusting acidity of mine water and pulps and sorption of copper with iminodiacetate ampholyte followed by sulfuric acid-mediated desorption, said sorption operation being performed at pH 3.0-3.5 without preliminarily separating solid phase and observing solids-to-liquid ratio 1:(5-7), phase contact time 5-7 h, and solids-to-ionite ratio (5-6):1.
