FIELD: technical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical chemistry, namely to a method for extracting copper from acidic circulating pickling solutions formed in the production of flat products. The extraction of copper from acidic solutions is carried out by sorption with the formation of a non-coarse solution and a saturated sorbent. An ion exchanger with bispicolylamine groups is used as a sorbent. The saturated sorbent is washed from the de-interbedded solution with water. When desorbing copper from the washed saturated sorbent, an ammonia solution of 10-25% is used. Then copper is isolated by electrolysis.

EFFECT: method allows increasing the degree of extraction of copper.
