FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in approximately 50% reduction of weight of tile by decrease of tile thickness over considerable part of its height with simultaneous compensation for subsequent fall in tile strength thanks to improved anchoring of this thinned part of tile in assembly box. System of wall facing includes extended wall facing tiles and assembly boxes mounted for fixing in vertical position on building wall to hold tiles arranged one above another. Longitudinal dimension of tiles extends horizontally and adjacent tiles are placed along vertical side by side with possible overlapping. Face of each facing tile has blunt part that stretches along upper edge of tile and face panel that extends from blunt part downwards to lower edge of tile. Rear side of tile carries supporting ridge protruding downwards which is placed in parallel to upper and lower edges of tile and its lower edge is distant from upper edge of tile. Assembly box has at least one flange that extends longitudinally in direction of assembly box and carries collection of bearing hooks uniformly spaced in longitudinal direction of assembly box and mounted for coupling supporting ridges of tiles from beneath for their support. Wall facing tiles are produced from stone material. Lower edge of supporting ridge is remote from upper edge of tile by distance under 0.4 of total height of tile. Each bearing hook has free edge formed by intermediate part of flange which is side support for tile snug against adjacent tile. Length of free edge of bearing hook amounts to half-distance separating corresponding points of adjacent bearing hooks as minimum. EFFECT: reduced weight of tiles. 3 cl, 3 dwg
