FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: described is positioning tool used in facing walls of buildings with tiles. Tool has elongated bearing member 11 adapted for fixing in vertical position on wall of building, and it is provided with hooks 17 located uniformly for supporting facing tiles. Located below each hook 17 is resiliently movable fixing lip 19. In non-loaded position, fixing lip 19 protrudes forward from rear surface of tile formed by member 11 and overlaps front surface of tile resting on adjacent hook 17, thus preventing upward displacement of facing tile.
