FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear when separated from base includes cylindrical second rigid member made fast to first member and having at least two independent channels located in essence in parallel which are continuation of channels in first member. One end of each channel is tightly coupled to first member, the other end of channel has first water- impermeable pressing surface embracing sheath covering wire of strand core inserted into channel and second surface forming side support of sheath of strand with due account of strand deviation from axis of channel into which it is inserted in direction of axis of guy end. Novelty of invention lies in use of first member limited in lateral direction by cylindrical surface and in longitudinal direction by two opposite surfaces basically perpendicular to longitudinal axis of first member crossed by channels which are made substantially in parallel to longitudinal axis of member. Second rigid member includes two channels as minimum which are placed in essence in parallel and are in each case continuation of channels of first member. EFFECT: development of gear making it feasible to protect part of each strand having no sheath against oxidation during and after setting of strands, development of factory-made gear which will not create problems of transportation to point of usage and subsequent attachment to base and will allow vibration to be suppressed and bending of each individual strand to be limited. 20 cl, 10 dwg
