FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: three elements are taken, each made from electroconductive material. These elements are a first electrode (2), a second electrode (4) and a third electrode (5). At least one of these three electrodes are mounted on a support (3) such that they are electrically insulated from one another, and the mixture (11) may touch at least one given surface lying on each electrode. The first electrode (2) and the third electrode (5) are selected and direct current, called the first direct current with a given value and given polarity, called the first polarity, is passed through these two electrodes, causing electrical reactions on the third electrode (5) for a given duration (D1), called the first duration. Further, the second electrode (4) and the third electrode (5) are selected and voltage (V) between these two electrodes during the said first duration (D1) is measured, and the measurement result is stored while varying the said voltage (V) during the said first duration (D1). The change in voltage (V) between the second electrode (4) and the third electrode (5) during the first duration (D1) is compared with given data which characterise at least whether the mixture (11) has passivating properties, and whether the mixture (11) has such passivating properties is determined.
EFFECT: invention enables to detect filling of an element of prestressed reinforcement in critical zones by determining possible wetting of the electrode with a mixture having passivating properties.
