FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas- turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed exhaust nozzle of gas turbine engine includes exhaust pipe to pass reactive gas jet. Great number of adjacent chevrons limiting exhaust hole is arranged on rear end of pipe. Each chevron is triangular in form, with base, top and rear edges converging between side edges and thus in radial direction by opposite first and second surfaces. Rear edges of adjacent chevrons are spaced in cross direction forming corresponding diverging slots communicating with pipe in flow. Chevrons are axially concaved between bases and tops which contributes to mixing of reactive jets through slots. EFFECT: reduced noise produced by exhaust gases and infrared characteristics at minimum in engine performance. 14 cl, 8 dwg
