FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oilless compression units. Proposed method comes to removal of heat by forced convective heat exchange between compression members carried out in period of operation of compression unit. Forced convective heat exchange in operation is provided by rarefaction with formation of air flow whose beginning coincides with zone of suction of compression members. Removal of heat from compression members by forced convective heat exchange in period of shutdown on compression unit is also provided by building rarefaction with formation of air flow beginning of which in formed in space of ring filtering element installed in area of compression members. EFFECT: improved intensity of heat removal owing to forced convective heat exchange between compression members, improved operating conditions of compression unit. 1 dwg
