FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of density of various suspensions and solutions by hydrostatic method with use of piezometric device. SUBSTANCE: facility includes two sealed chambers placed at different levels in monitored medium, one wall of each chamber coming in the form of elastic membrane, two piezotubes each tube being connected with one end to its sealed chamber, two measurement tubes, each carrying capacitive pickup to determine level of separation of heavier and lighter immiscible test liquids, information processing unit and register. Each piezotube is linked with the other end to first end of its measurement tube by means of flexible remotely operated tube making it possible to set measurement tubes away from vessel with tested liquid on vertical axis parallel to vertical axis of installation of sealed chambers and to turn measurement tubes around horizontal axis passing through first ends of measurement tubes, when needed. Second end of each measurement tube is linked to its compensation vessel which internal volume in sum with volume of part of measurement tube from its second end to center of capacitive pickup is equal to sum of internal volumes of sealed chamber with mid-position of elastic membrane, piezotube, flexible remotely operated tube and measurement tube from its first end to center of capacitive pickup Each capacitive pickup comes in the form of cylindrical capacitor which central electrode is insulated from test liquids. Diameter d of internal electrode without insulation is chosen in limits from 2.0 to 6.0 mm and is related to diameter ddins of internal electrode with insulation and internal diameter D of external electrode as d:ddins: D = 4:5:14. Compensation capacitors are interconnected through shut-off unit which shut-off position prevents overflow of test liquid from one measurement tube and compensation vessel to another measurement tube and compensation vessel under mode of device arresting and under mode of re-tuning of device to another measurement range in which test liquids change places. Measurement tubes turn around axis passing through first ends of measurement tubes with shut-of device facing downward. After this first ends of measurement tubes turn to be upper and second ends become lower. Densities of test liquids in computation algorithm also change places. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy, expanded measurement range. 6 dwg
